South of Kyoto city in Japan

There is a five-story pagoda of Touji temples in the south of Kyoto city. This pagoda is the tallest wooden tower in Japan. It was a sunny weather but it was so cold when I took this photo.

South of Kyoto city called Fushimi area has many sake breweries. Sake is a Japanese rice wine. Some breweries have restaurants and we can drink fresh sake and eat delicious foods. Kasujiru is one of the most delicious food in this area. This soup is made from sake-kasu which are left over from sake production.

This sign board is an old Japanese post office.
